“One of the Top Restaurants in Chicago”
Long considered one of the best dining destinations in downtown Chicago, NoMI Kitchen is a casually elegant open kitchen restaurant with a chic, contemporary atmosphere and stunning views of the city. The project included the design of the main dining room, lounge, as well as semi-private and private dining spaces for 12 to 30 guests. Conceived in the spirit of a high-end residential project, NoMI features intimate spaces one might find in a contemporary luxury apartment. Guests step off the elevator on the seventh floor at the entrance to the wine-cellar room, which showcases a selection of the restaurant’s 10,000-bottle wine collection in luminous floor-to-ceiling, glass-encased racks. The adjacent lounge, a sleek, glass-and-nickel space that also provides access to the rooftop restaurant and lounge, in turn leads to the dining room which boasts Italian tile floors, leather-padded support beams and Dale Chihuly chandeliers while offering stunning views over Water Tower Square.
