Movies, Bowling, and Karaoke in a Stylish Setting at Thailand’s Largest Multiplex
Located on the 5th floor of the Siam Paragon shopping mall in Bangkok, the Siam Paragon Cineplex opened in 2006 and covers a total area of 25,000 m2. With 16 screens and 5,000 seats, it is Thailand’s largest multiplex. Its design captures the luxury atmosphere of high-end hotels and the glamour of Hollywood lifestyle. This project for the Major Cineplex Group, the largest operator of movie theaters in Thailand, included the interior design of a variety of screening rooms, from the gigantic 1,200-seat theater named after Princess Pavalai offering balcony seating, to a private screening room with comfy beds (rather than traditional seating) and a small restaurant to host sponsored events. The project also included the design of VIP lounge areas, a bowling alley and a karaoke venue with private rooms and a small spa.
